Grinding young people to dust and laying waste to lives and thousands of miles of land. Towns, cities, farms, livelihoods, happiness, and youth are destroyed. The misery is incalculable.

Soldiers on both sides fight and live in the mud and filth, coming out of their subterranean hovels only long enough to kill and die for a few meters of land. But this is not your war…

You are a groundcrew mechanic, tasked with keeping the sleek fighter planes and their pilots flying day after day.

Dead Stick is a journaling RPG set in a world war. Write through the eyes of a groundcrew member as you struggle to maintain your personal sanity through the terrible and dramatic events of the war.

To play this game you'll need:

• A D20 to Roll for War Events
• A coin to flip for war progress
• Something to record your story, such as a journal or a computer.

Safety - Dead Stick deals with the themes of loss, death, and war. These themes can be heavy especially if you've personally experienced them in some way. Please take time if playing affects you and you don't need to finish the game.
